ISM Africa is a multidisciplinary professional consultancy specializing in the planning, design, and delivery of built environment projects. Our in-house teams of architects, engineers, quantity surveyors, land surveyors, and project managers work collaboratively to provide technically robust, commercially sound, and well-coordinated solutions. Omri Cohen
Chief Executive Officer - C.E.O
Omri has 25 years of experience building and managing companies, including 15 in East Africa. Omri is a co-founder of ISM Africa and brings exceptional experience with cleantech and renewable energy.
Omri has operated in Kenya, Somalia, Mozambique, South Sudan, DRC, Uganda, Rwanda, Burundi and Tanzania. Omri earned a BA degree (cum laude)in Government, Diplomacy Management, and Strategy from Herzliya University.
Paul Williamson
Chief Operations Officer - C.O.O
Born in Kenya, Paul brings over 15 years of experience in building and scaling businesses across both the United Kingdom and East Africa.
He has founded and led companies with diverse interests in construction, local manufacturing and assembly – including electric vehicles (EVs), charging systems, and solar technologies – with a strong focus on integrating innovation to deliver high-functionality, commercially viable solutions.
Paul holds a Business Law degree from London Metropolitan University.
Ruth Kamau
General Manager - GM
Born in Kenya, Ruth brings over years of experience as an accomplished executive responsible for driving business growth through strategic planning.
She has led with a focus on innovation, strategic growth, and long-term value. With a presence in Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Rwanda, and Zambia, we’ve built a reputation as leaders in modular construction, serving industries such as Hospitality, Mining, Renewable Energy, and Luxury Holiday Camps.
